So, I got a wig. It was an impulse purchase. I’ve been slowly working to get a red to pink hair color going, but since I’m doing it myself, I’ve been taking my time and thought that in the meantime, I might as well see what I would look like with pink hair. I’m not gonna lie, I’m smitten with it.

I wasn’t going to take these pictures with my wig on, but as I was getting ready to leave my hair just wasn’t doing what I wanted, so I pulled it on, stuck a few bobby pins in and it was a go.

The short days of December make it impossible to take pictures on days I work, which is why I’m glad that as the days get longer, I get out early enough that I can run out for some pictures before the sun disappears beneath the horizon. I brave the cold and the questioning stares from strangers. I even overcame my anxiety over my pink hair, all for these pictures.
