Like most basic white girls, I have a deep love of sweaters. The bigger, the better.

I picked up this sweater at TJmaxx. No surprise right? I normally err on sizing towards the extra-extra large, because I love the feeling of being swallowed by a sweater. But this one time, I decided to buy something more size appropriate. I’m not mad about it.

I had no intention to take these pictures on the side of the road. I had already managed one set of outfit photos that day and decided to get these in as well. But the sun was running away fast and I knew my intended location would be just a little too far to make it in time. So, I pulled to the side of the ride as it started to grow colder than tolerable. I didn’t last longer than ten minutes.

There’s something about taking pictures roadside with dozens of cars driving by that’s a little unnerving. It has to look strange to those passers-bys, some random girl taking pictures of herself. Of course, I always feel a little self-conscious posing for pictures and the more self-conscious I feel the less creative my poses get. One of my future goals is to get more confident in taking pictures in public places. It’s a work in progress- but I’m feeling optimistic that it’s not impossible.
