Beech Hill Preserve in Maine has and always will rank as one of my favorite places. I’m still breathless when I reach the top and stare over the blueberry fields towards the ocean. When I hiked up for these pictures, the sky was unreal. It was a grey foggy day (in case you couldn’t tell from the pictures, ha) but the sun was peeking through along the horizon and it gave the appearance that the sky was on fire. It didn’t translate in the pictures like it did in person. Nature takes my breath away, probably part of the reason why I love Maine so much.

I bought this skirt off of Etsy at the beginning of the year, it sat in my closet for a while. I gained a healthy Covid fifteen pounds and I couldn’t breathe with this skirt buttoned. But, after the easy access to my cupboards became less appealing, I reverted back to my natural size and the skirt fitted like it had been made for me. It’s not a cut I wear often, but I have to admit that I’m slowly falling in love with it.
