Book: Aurora Rising by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff

I have an itch to culture my outfits more towards decades than it has ever been before. This outfit makes me think of the sixties. Who knows how close it actually is, but I have always used clothing as a form of expression, and not only that but a way to prepare for the day. If I dress tougher or smoother than I feel perhaps then my anxiety will take a back seat for once.

I’ve also have had an itch to read more science fiction, it’s a fantastic escape. It’s been my favorite TV genre all my life, but I’ve never been able to get into it in book form. I recently read Skyward by Brandon Sanderson and I fell in love with the story and characters. I realized I had to give sci-fi another chance. So after a quick google search, I reserved this book from my local library. Written in the first person, it switches characters, which can get confusing. But if you’re looking for an adventure and a little romance and magic, this is a great read. I devoured it between my flights that other week. I already have the second book on hold from my library.
