Hotel Portsmouth

Travel has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. Even from a young age, some of my fondest memories were the adventures my parents took me on.

When I first moved to Maine, I used to venture to new places every weekend, I’d trek to unfamiliar villages and try hidden restaurants, but it’s been a long time since I’ve done that. So this past month I made the plunge and took an adventure!

And I ended up in Portsmouth on a grey, rainy day. And it so happened that the only spot with good lighting was in the bathroom. But, let’s be honest, isn’t that tub the best? I probably took 3-4 baths in a twelve-hour period.

I stayed at The Hotel Portsmouth, which is a Lark property. The rooms were beautiful, breakfast was simple and delicious, and the staff was kind. The location was my favorite perk, because everything was a hop, skip, and jump away from the center of the city. I can’t wait to visit Portsmouth again, but this time maybe with a little sunshine.

My dress was a recent purchase from Amazon, I’ve been looking for more classic pieces to add to my closet. This silhouette is not something I’d normally go for, but from the moment I put it one, I fell in love and not just because I feel like I’ve stepped back in time. I mean, maybe a little.

I hope everyone is staying safe in these crazy times.

Until next time!

.Misha.
