The quote above is from my little blue necklace in these pictures. The necklace states the author is Walt Whitman, but a quick google said George Bernard Shaw should take the credit. Either way, I love this quote. I think if you seek to find yourself, you’re always going to be looking, because who you are changes constantly. I like to think I have control over who I am and I don’t ever have to accept the current form if I don’t like it.
I purposely go out for pictures. If I don’t, I get stuck. So even when it’s below freezing, when my hands take over an hour to recover from the gloveless pictures, I still venture out and smile for the camera. I twirl too – dresses like these are meant to be twirled in.
