I love Magnolia trees. I have a soft spot in my heart for these. We have one, right alongside our driveway. Every April it’s in bloom for a short week, it blooms before the apple trees and the pears. I love the smell when it catches in the air. Unfortunately the flowers don’t stay for very long. If you pick them, they go limb rather quick. I knew that if I wanted pictures with the tree in bloom I’d have to be quick. Plus I’d have to face my fears of bees. So if in any of the pictures I look like I’m in fear, I probably am.
